    Pastrami, Cream Cheese & Scallion Spread


    Love cream cheese and scallions? Now you can have it on your pastrami, and eat it, too. This new weekend brunch spread is quick and easy to prepare. Also delicious with Nations Best®Corned Beef, Brisket or Tongue.


    • 8 oz thinly-sliced Nations Best® Pastrami, finely-chopped
    • 16 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
    • 6 scallions, including 3 inches of green, finely-chopped
    • 6 dashes Tabasco sauce
    • 4 bagels or 32 toast points


    • Combine the pastrami, cream cheese, scallions and Tabasco. Scrape into a decorative bowl and chill well.
    • Serve as a dip, or spread on bagels, crackers, toast points and even sandwiches with a fresh slice of ripe tomato and lettuce.

    Makes 2 cups or 8 servings (32 hors d’oeuvres)
