Turkey, Vegetable & Swiss Quiche

The beauty of this terrific-tasting Nations Best® recipe is its versatility and ease in preparation. Select vegetables according to the season, and make it more or less rich depending upon using cream, half-and-half or milk.
Meat Suggestions
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 c chopped zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower and/or red peppers
- 2 Tbsp finely-chopped onion
- 1 c chopped Nations Best® Rosners Turkey Breast
- 1/2 grated Swiss cheese
- 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/4 half-and-half, or milk
- Pinch nu®eg
- 1/2sp salt
Directions
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Cook the vegetables, stirring, until tender, 10 minutes.
- Scatter the vegetables, turkey, and cheese in the pie shell.
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the half-and-half, nu®eg, and salt. Pour the egg mixture into the pie shell. Bake for 15 minutes.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 325 degrees F and continue baking until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean, about 20 to 25 minutes.
